After a glorious four days away we came back to reality.
We expected our house to be demolished as we had left it in the hands of two teenagers.
Relief:
They are not quite as naughty as I was at that age, I would rather not divulge the things we got up to but if you went to high school with me then you know.
No party no damage, instead.
Jess had caught a stomach bug and Viv the Intrepid traveller quickly had to turn into Mom the nursemaid.
The puppies were of course happy to see us because we spoil them rotten.
Since then some not to great things have happened. SIGH Back to reality.
We will always have Cape Town.
Something that cheered me up a little is my blog. I remember getting excited when the first 10 people looked at it. When 50 people looked at it in one day I was ecstatic. Then soon I hit the 100 mark. It took very long before I reached 200 a day. It now averages 200 page views a day. I know top bloggers get thousands of views a day but to me 200 is WOW. Thank you.
Congrats on the 200 views/day! I know that would make me happy too! Love your blog :) Hope your daughter is feeling better. The stomach bug is one of my greatest fears as a parent. Never too fun, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks Leia yip stomach bugs are the pits. I occassionally read another guy's blog and he just reached 1 million I think I worked out it would take 50 years before I have 1 million readers. Wonder if I will still be blogging in my 90s.
