Let's Synchronise Our Laptops

I love my Michael very much but sometimes his Germaness comes through in crazy ways.

I kid you not this is the conversation we just had.

Michael:
“I was thinking seeing that I am going to Durban next week, we need to sort out the shows we are going to watch.”

Me:
“Aren’t they all on the computer in the other lounge?”

Michael:
“It ran out of space so some are on my laptop.”

Me:
“Well then we can copy some over to mine.”

Michael:
“But we need to decide what we are going to watch for the week or you could watch more of one show or I could watch more of one show and then where we watch from will be mixed up when I get back.”

Is it me or is this taking it a bit far when it comes to having things organised?

  1. Well I see your organized and raise you a server with a 3 terabyte drive for movies, a 3 terabyte drive for music, a 2 terabyte drive for recorded television, and that doesn't count the drives for the raid operating system and other programs. Yes driveS.

The server has a TOTAL of 7 YES SEVEN hard drives. All the other computers in the house look for that computer and with a total of 2 desktops, 4 laptops, one tablet, and 2 smart phones they all look for this behemoth for all the video watching glory.

Oh and while away from home we can dial into said server to watch whatever we like. You may not want him to see this reply because it could result in the creation of a psycho digital organizer. (I have one already and it is a scary monster)
